“Energy” and “Pride in Community” were two emerging themes from the March 10th CATCH-UP Community Testing Event hosted by Tabitha Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. In partnership with Skyline Ministries, community members were offered free, fresh food along with free, COVID-19 testing.
A special thanks to Dr. VanWagoner, OSCTR Deputy Director, of the Oklahoma Clinical and Translational Science Institute, who volunteered on-site to support this event. And as an exemplar of community knowledge and responsiveness, the Tabitha Baptist team is planning to take their events on the road! In the upcoming weeks, they will be present in their community to offer COVID-19 testing in areas of great need.
