Our Story

Seems funny looking back – but Multicounty Coalition was born out of the pandemic. The idea had been tried before with three local coalitions making efforts to combine for quarterly meetings to share ideas and support each other but the travel, time constraints and finding a meeting venue large enough for everyone to gather made the concept almost impossible. Multicounty coalition plans to create an interactive website where community partners can share events, training opportunities and the dates of coalition meetings. We would also like to create a state-wide resource books to connect families with different resources across the state. Prevention and promoting healthy living is our third project.
