- Telligen Community Initiative has announced their 2020 deadlines for Oklahoma. As a progressive grant making organization, Telligen is committed to advancing community health improvement – meeting an applicant where they’re at. Specific funding priority areas include healthcare workforce development, health innovation, and health equity/social determinants of health. - Collaborations who are working to develop a data sharing project that could benefit from participation in small peer-to-peer learning groups led by experienced DASH (Data Across Sectors for Health) mentors, may consider applying for the second round of the DASH Mentor Program. - The University of Michigan Future Public Health Leaders Program (Michigan FPHLP) is currently accepting applications for Summer 2020! The Michigan FPHLP 2020 Application is open until January 31, 2020. The Michigan FPHLP is is a 10-week summer residential program for underrepresented college students and recent graduates who are looking for a meaningful introduction to public health. It is a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office of Minority Health and Health Equity (OMHHE) to address the shortage of diversity in the public health workforce. - The Family Support and Prevention Service / Oklahoma Family Support Network will be hosting two great training opportunities in January 2020 for FREE! The Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening and Support training will be offered on January 14, 2020 and The Circle of Parents Facilitator training will be offered on January 15, 2020.
