A dedicated team of service industry professionals and event staff joined forces on Monday, March 1st to provide free community COVID-19 testing and flu shots at Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City. As the third community in Oklahoma to host a testing event in collaboration with project CATCH-UP, Tower Theatre serves as an exemplary model of engaging the community you serve. Through their strong ties to the community at large, business community, media, local health department, faith and philanthropic communities they were able to provide more than 50 tests in addition to flu shots and antibody testing.
Tower theatre plans to host monthly events to increase access to testing and to help the local service industry see testing as a necessary resource in the fight to mitigate the impact of COVID 19. This group knows how to host an event and we look forward to seeing their impact in the coming months.
One of our goals, through project CATCH-UP, is to form new paths for collaboration that help us meet our current, and future, challenges together. We are so happy to introduce this new partnership with Tower Theatre and celebrate their noteworthy efforts!
