Webinar: “Connecting Oklahomans To Mental Health Services”

The Oklahoma Primary Healthcare Improvement Cooperative (OPHIC) and the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) invite you to attend the free “CONNECTING OKLAHOMANS TO MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES” webinar on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM.  In this session, you will learn about a wide range of mental health services from ODMHSAS’s Interim Commissioner, Carrie Slatton-Hodges, as she describes what her agency is doing to increase access for mental health specialty referrals.

OPHIC and the ODMHSAS are partnering on multiple programs to protect the mental health of Oklahomans and we know the value primary care brings as the point of contact for patient needs.  We are working together to expand the options for helping patients receive effective treatment options.  As the handoff from clinician to specialty services is so critical, OPHIC’s Dr. Dan Duffy will provide guidance on how to create an effective referral management process.

There is no cost to attend this very informative webinar and you are welcome to forward the registration link to others in your organization or other professionals you believe would benefit from this information.

You may register for the webinar at http://bit.ly/ReferralMgt.   Questions about this session may be sent to Charles-tryon@ouhsc.edu.
