Nothing can stop Oklahoma teachers from letting their students know how much they miss them and are thinking of them. Last week, a caravan of over a dozen cars with teachers from Washington Elementary School sent their love and well-wishes to their students during a drive by teacher parade throughout the neighborhoods. Students and their parents were outside greeting them back.
I am overwhelmed with emotions as my eyes welled up with tears. I did not realized how much I missed simple things like seeing my daughter go to school, calling the office to let them know that my child was a car rider today, interacting with faculty. Washington Elementary teachers and staff members just had a parade in our neighborhood to send their love and to say “hello”. This act of kindness meant so much and was very heart warming!
