As part of the $2 trillion CARES Act, Hospitals and other health centers will be able to apply for up to $1 million to cover the cost of new devices, services and personnel to improve and subsidize telehealth services around the country.
Eligible organizations include
- Medical schools and teaching hospitals
- Community health centers and migrant care centers
- Local health agencies and departments
- Community mental health centers
- Not-for-profit hospitals
- Rural health clinics
- Skilled nursing facilities (e.g. long term care facilities)
